Fountain Tire congratulates its new store owners, including Fountain Tire Quesnel’s Robert Green at the annual Fountain Tire Convention! The convention was held in March 2017 at the Fairmont Hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Founded in Wainwright, Alberta by Bill Fountain in 1956, Fountain Tire continues its long history of dedication to providing top-quality service to Canadians! We are thrilled to welcome new store owners while we grow as a company that spreads across the country from British Columbia to Ontario.

Summer is upon us and with that comes the time for family to benefit from celebrating together. Bring a blanket and chair and come on out to enjoy a car show, snow cones, hot dogs, popcorn, refreshments and more. This movie night is free of charge as a gift to you and your whole family. This is Fountain Tire’s way of saying thank-you for your loyal support since 1956!

Air pressure is the key to pro-longed tire life and also the number one reason for tire failure.  Keeping your tires at the correct air pressure will not only give you the best results for tire life, but also optimize fuel economy.  By not maintaining proper tire inflation, your tire is generating additional heat if under inflated or over inflated wearing your tire out faster leading to premature tire failure. Tire failure may include: sidewall failure, uneven tread wear, and run-flat tires.

One of the biggest downfalls to tires that are not properly maintained is a voided warranty. Not all tires include a tread life warranty, so remember to ask about it the next time you’re shopping for new summer, winter or all-season tires. To ensure your tires are properly inflated, check your tire pressure on a regular basis or have one of our Fountain Tire Technicians do this for you. The amount of air your tire needs is determined by many varying factors, but the simplest way is to check your owners manual or the crevice of your vehicle door.

Heave-ho! As a rope suspended over the shoulders of the crew and a mascot at Fountain Tire, the team pulled the 7000lb tractor in the 2013 fall fair.

A little stumble by the mascot slowed them down a little but it didn’t hurt their team spirit. Taking first place for the fastest time was Co-op Vanderhoof but Fountain Tire didn’t go home empty handed. With smiles on their faces and cheers from all around, they won the prize for Best-Dressed/Team Spirit.
